Very early morning at the flying field and the sun is just rising over the mountain tops and lighting our field with morning sunshine. Setting up a tent and chairs to get ready for an entire day event. Still not fully awake from the late night, early morning wake up, the morning chilled breeze run down your body. Soon that chill feeling is replaced by the roar of a P-51 Mustang so close I could feel the vibration down to my toes... :eek:
...I was standing 100' closer than Fred, up front!!

I absolutely loved the commentary, "Oh there he is man.... he's going to come in hot!! Oh this is going to be sweet! Noh he going to be higher than that.... Ohhhhh this is going to be cooool!!! OH HE'S CRANKING IT UP!!!!!! (Sreams in the backround as plane approaches. Plane passes) YEAH!!!"

Loved the video. Very cool to see a 'Stang do a low pass in person. I was fortunate enogh to see one unintentionally.

My boys and I where there, 6 and 9 years old. To hear them screaming after the flyby: "the P-51 is the best airplane in the world dad!" was awesome! Boys, you just saw a piece of history. I'm glad they saw it.

It is a Lumix 6.0 by Panasonic. Really good video at 30fps, 640x480 with steadyshot.

I have seen the Spit video before, pretty good.

Seeing a P-51 screaming by is awesome, isn't it? You guys would of loved the GML. Happened all day long, along with jets, lol.
The dude screaming was funny, lol. Sounded like me at the airshow.

That Lancair is bad@ss but I would rather have heard the sound of the engine than Bonn Scott.
