I just scored a pre-loved Sagitta 900. Putting my gear in it and hoped someone out there has a balance point for me.
I read a Larry Jolly article about flying the Eppler 205 at a balance point of 38% of chord. What are the thoughts on that?

38% is the magic number, on a 600 or 900, it does work!

Listen to Marc and Larry, they are wise beyond their years. 38% it is.

The tow hook position is relative to the CG. If you will be moving the CG very much compared to the plans, then move the tow hook by a similar amount. But do it in steps, especially when going backwards. Get too aggressive with and aft hook location and it may stall on the line.
