Okay guys and gals, here's a real stumper for you!!!!
Does anyone out there have any plans for, or a Boeing 307 Stratoliner kit?
I would like to build one, hopefully I can find some plans to build one at least 72 to 96 inch wingspan and fly it on electrics.
The 307 is a very rare airplane.
So many kit manufacturers have B-17s, B-25s, etc, but I would like to find and build a 307, either from a kit or a set of plans.
Too bad someone doesn't kit this marvelous airplane!!!
Even if it was an ARF, I'd buy it.

feel free to PM me.

Zbrubaker from Park Scale models was working on a somewhat smaller one.
There has been a very large 180" (not a typo) model of the 307 built and flown...gas powered giant scale:

Ed, the 307 is next in my queue after I finish my FW190. I bought the EAM B-17 wing and tail kits last year, and have the Paul Matt 3-views. I'm blowing up the three views and making my own plans for the fuse. IIRC, the EAM kit is 71 ", so that scale means I'll make the 307 have a 73" wing (since the WS on the 307 was a bit larger than the B-17, even though they used the same wing, the fuse is a bit wider. It'll be a very simple fuse to build, all formers are circles front to back.

Thanks GrrrAmps for the reply.
May I ask if I could purchase a copy of the plans from you, I'll gladly pay costs plus shipping. If this is agreeable, let me know.
I sure wish someone kitted this airplane.
I work as a volunteer at the annual EAA airshow every year in Oshkosh, and several years ago when the 307 was there, I just fell in love with it. As it left Oshkosh, it was bound for Washington DC on its final flight, to be put on display.
I also made a post over in Giant Scale forum on this same airplane, hoping to get some information as to whether anyone might have a set of plans, or know of someone who might have a a rare kit of it.
Thanks again for the reply.
Best regards,
Ed
