Technically this is not legal in the USA. If you had a HAM radio license, you could operate on one of the HAM bands. Otherwise you will need to go to 2.4Ghz or 900Mhz.
If you aren't worried about being legal, then I would expect that any Futaba, Hitec, or JR module could be made to work with those transmitters with the correct wiring.

try Marv at www.jensenjetmodels.com as he has the last batch of FMA made FM modules for the ace radios. these are the new SMD version and are 100% legal FCC-wise. any other manufacturer's module are not legal as VI pointed out.
if he doesn't have what you need then check the yahoo group "mp8k" as some there will have extra decks they want to get rid of as they move to 2.4GHz. i have two brand new ones myself that might go up for sale soon depending on how spread spectrum pans out. also just a good place to hang out with other ace users and learn about new developments and upgrades...

Didn't know any of these could be upgraded legally, too bad that trend has come to a close.

FMA discontinued the decks around '03 and a year or so later Marv set up a group buy to get them to do another run of about 100. many of us bought a couple just to hang onto for future use but with 2.4GHz coming on strong they'll probably just get mothballed.
