Jack Stafford Models Announcement:

Jack Stafford Models is glad to announce that we can now run production kits in lot form. If you fellows get together and purchase a minimum of 5 kits of any one particular model, for example 5 Twin Comanches or 5 Aircoupes, etc. No mix and match of kit lots will be considered. JSM will make a production run to fill that order of five. Orders will be filled on a first come, first served basis. The one exception to this is the 50% Smith Miniplane, it can be ordered as a single short kit.
We will require a 50% non refundable deposit up front and the remaining 50% along with the actual shipping cost at the time the order is ready to ship. We have had a lot of requests for kits since closing the business 12/31/06. This is the one way we can help providing you, the modeler, with what you want. So, get together with some of your friends and get the word out. E-mail me or send a PM if you have any questions or would like to discuss any further details. Following is the list of kits along with the price per kit. Thank you. Jack Stafford Models.

Please put me down for a twin Commanche. I have put this kit off for long enough. I finally went to order one, only to find out that shop had been closed. This is GREAT
News. Now we only need 3 more people.

Thanks for jumping onboard Scott. Get the word out. Like you, I went to order one last March only to find out they stopped production in December. I'm ready to add a twin to my single version.

Steve, I've been looking for a magazine article on the Stafford Comanche that came out in 1970 to 1972. It featured a build on the kit by Ralph Jackson. The cover for the month showed the Comanche and Ralphs Eindecker. He used a Rossi Twin .60 for power and had retracts. You don't happen to know what magazine and month? Thanks Duff

Got you down Scott. Thank you.

Sorry I do not have any information on the magazine article but will look through some of the old files that came with the company to see if there is any thing in there. Will follow up on that.
