:) Put aside my "Champ" and converted a Great Planes yak 54 to electric. Flys great and impressed the "slimers" at the field. Wing area is 1138 sq ".

Motor Axi 5330/18
Motor Battery Maxamp 8s 6000mah (2 4s series)
Esc Jeti Advance 90 +
Rx Battery ni/mh 1400 Mah 6 volts
Prop Apc E 18X10
Weight 14 Lbs 6 Oz
Wing Loading 29.1 Oz Sq ft

Battery v as recieved from Maxamps was 30.09 v as measured with a Dvm. Did not charge the batteries for a short (15 seconds) test run to measure amp draw and watts at that voltage. Using the Astro Watt meter the amp draw was 39 amps and 1100 Watts. A full charge should record 50 amps or under and about 1400 watts. The recomended prop was 22x10 but someone said that would result in about a 70 amp draw which is pushing the batteries more then necessary for sport acro. Next flight I will measure the amps and watts at full throttle befor take off. Vj

Victor,
I'm running a 5330/18 with a Jeti Advance 90 in my Venus II on 9S TP Pro Lite 4000's.
It pulls 65 amps with an 18x12 APC-E prop. Your Max Amps 6000 cells should be good for 60 amps continuous and 90 amps burst (15 sec).
You should be able to prop up to a 20x8 APC-E, and still pull only 60-65 amps, which should not stress your lipos (or the 5530/18) at all.
