As the previous poster has stated, here are the US F3J teams for 2008:
Juniors: AJ McGowan, Brendon Beardsley, Jeff Walter
Open: Daryl Perkins, Ben Clerx, Rich Burnowski
Sorry, but you'll have to wait for details (Check the S.O.A.R. website and,
when you do, carefully examine the junior scores - these youngsters are
really able!!) Congratulations and good wishes to the teams.
The members of S.O.A.R. deserve much mention for donating a gift to the F3J effort which simply cannot be matched - the exclusive use of a very fine flying site for a three day holiday weekend complete with unbelievably nice weather all three days!
A real R/c soaring "kodak moment" occurred when Rich Burnowski's name was announced - the hugs he got from his sons were priceless!
