How do you have Vtail controls and still have a steeable nose or tail wheel?

You need a seperate nosegear servo with the rudder channel p-mixed into an auxiliary channel.

I'm going to try this on a tail-dragger with the tail wheel driven from one side of the v-tail.
As the plane will lift its tail when on the takeoff run, the interaction with the elevator command shouldn't affect the low-speed ground stuff. (Theory says.)

Theory also says that you will invariably notice something on the ground that you want to avoid at the last minute and in a useless attempt, pull up. What a groundloop you are going to do!.
Years ago, I used this method to "de-mix" a v-tail for a tail wheel. The weight on the tail wheel is small, so the springs need not be strong. None the less, a second set of compensating springs helps compensate out the spring forces at neutral.

PS. It was on a full-scale aircraft!

Thump, thump!!! That'll teach that squirrel to stay put!

One reason I selected a tail-dragger is because the tail comes up quickly, before the elevator is needed. With a trike, there's two problems.. the up-elevator induced ground-loop, and the folded prop locking onto the nose wheel strut, and blowing the ESC when an inflight restart is attempted.
Your springs are the way Klett tailwheel assemblies are constructed. And the only way to get up (or down, depending) with a v-tail steered tail wheel.

This is the steerable tailwheel with a vee-tail on my Bakerelectric... uses a full-flyin horizontal..
