well, as the title suggests my friend and I are in the preliminary stages of our senior (in high school that is :) )project. We essentially have decided to build a plane with a fpv camera. We are planning on max altitudes of around 1,000-to possibly 2,000 feet and overall flight distances of around 3miles. I do have prior experience flying gas model planes, but i have never undertaken a project like this.
I was hoping that you guys could help guide me in the right direction so this project does not completely flop.
we have decided to use an electric powered plane, but we are not quite sure as to which one will suit our needs. any suggestions?
the main thing i am concerned about is how we are going to communicate with the plane and recieve the live feed over this distance.
Maybe you guys don't have the time to sitdown and fully explain all the basics of this aspect of rc, but I am hoping you guys can steer me in the right direction. (i.e. what parts we need, tutorials if any :D )
any and all help is greatly appreciated
