6 ch rx, no motor - how to run 6 servos?

I have a 6 ch receiver to be put in a sailboat, thus there's not going to be no motor. I need all the six to operate the boat and I suck in electronics. How can I get them all powered when I have six servos attached to the rx, but no power cable from an ESC or similar?

Can I just connect the battery pack parallel to any of the servos with a Y-cable (red to red, black to black, signal cut in battery branch) or will this fry the servo and/or the rx?

Just use a Y cable. You don't need to cut the signal wire as it's not connected in the battery.
