Hi,
I am adding the link to your company website as I never heard of your company and thought this might be a SCAM.
Thanks for the info

http://www.customcdr.com/

One question...Website says lifetime warranty, does that include bearings?

No scam here.. We have been around for years. Do a quick search for customcdr here on rcgroups and you will come up with 100's of threads.

Yes, the bearings are covered.

customcdr makes lots of motors, their 10Turn single is good for park jet fliers, the 5 turn double is good for 'faster' park jets, and now a triple meant for abuse. I that just about covers the whole pusher jet market....

Oh I would not ignore them Fans for long. Jon has posted some numbers from the triple wound up for an Alfa fan and it's looking impressive.

I would be very interested in a dedicated fan motor. Something to compete with the LSJS 5,100 kv. What is the diameter?

Here is the thread about our fan motor. Spinning an Alpha 5 blade, our motor is getting close to the same rpm on 3s as the competition is getting on 4s. And on 4s, we are getting close to 55,000 rpm.

According to your #'s above, this motor with an APC 6x5.5 would really push a combat wing (Zagi) around quite nicely. This sounds like the sort of motor that tends to shake the ailerons loose just as your wing heads out over the water.

...not that that sort of thing has ever happened to me.

Does this motor mount on a brushed 400 size motor mount?
Can I flip the shaft over easily (mount the motor behind the firewall) ??

The mounting holes are standard. 16mm. and 17mm. spacing. The shaft is not reversible, but I have both standard and reversed shafts. You can buy an extra and swap them out as needed..

Thats Great Cause i just got one of your "Competitors" Motors and it sucks . It is nothing to what they claim. I am not impressed at all with the motor. I would like to give yours a try when it comes out though....Please let me know when it does.

Just for anyone that has never bought or used a Custom CDR motor before, I bought 2 at the same time. I bought the Single stator speed motor and the Single Stator Special edition motor. Both weigh .95 of an ounce and are unreal performers. The speed motor has been on several different small jets and is currently on a mini-superfly that is so fast I can't even give it full throttle. The Special edition is throwing an 8x4 HD prop on my Full Fuse Staggerwing Foamie and it has unlimited verticle on a 800mah 3s pack. I've been so impressed with these motors.... I have'nt needed to get another one since I saw this one.
Morphs.. I' will definately be sending you a PM about ordering this one.. Thanks.

They should be to you soon. International orders get snagged up in customs sometimes. Let me know if you don't have them by the end of this week..

Where can we find firewall mounts for this motor? The ones I have expect two holes to be at a different distance apart from the other two holes.

Our motors have 16 and 17mm hole spacing. Most available X mounts will have at least two holes that line up with our motor.. I use two of the four all the time and have never had a problem..

I use the jgf mounts with two screws.

What is the width of the shaft? I've got a number of 3.2 collets, and they slip right off.

Just to let you know, I tested an 8X6 APC E prop on 3S on this motor the other day and it pulled about 32 amps. That seems to be within the limits of the motor since the 7X5 on 4S pulls about the same amps, so I will try to test it in flight to see how it goes soon. I like the way it flies a parkjet on 3S with the 7x5, but I'd bet the 8X6 would have a bunch more power.
Sorry, no rpm's and I don't know the watts, but at 32 amps it's probably a lot. :) Should make for some interesting flying. :)
If I can get a new build done soon, I'll try to give it a whirl on 3S with the 8X6 and see how it does in flight. :)
The thing is, the pitch speed is probably not all that high relative to how high it could be with smaller props and higher cell counts, but I was just trying to see what prop could work a little more powerfully on this motor for 3s. The 8X6 looks promising, but we shall see. :)

Let us know how it does..

It seems that you are going to stick with 3s batteries, so I think we should have set you up with a hotter motor.. I thought you were going to go 4s. Otherwise, I would I would have suggested a motor better suited for 3s. Our 4 turn triple will get you close to 100 mph and 28 oz. of thrust spinning a 6x5.5 on 3s at 28 amps..

Also, make sure yo have plenty of airflow at 30+ amps.. This is the edge of its limit..
