Wanted to answer a questions I received from another member about this metal detector.

"Why doesn't this detector have any meter on it?"

The Fisher 1236 X2 does not have a meter as it does not need one. It is designed to be a workhorse, and is used by many competitive coin searchers due to its very sensitive nature. Visit this test report for some interesting facts and results on testing that was done on this model. You can find it HERE (http://www.joanallen.co.uk/a_testreports/1236.html?src=internal) if you are interested. This is an excellent detector at a VERY good price, so put your PM in to obtain it before others discover this offer too.

Will keep this item available through Sunday, then I think I will go out and do some coin hunting myself :) ! Lots of places here in Temecula to search in the Old Town area too....

Thanks QC. It has been up now for most of a week without much more than a question or so. Guess I will have to devote some more time to treasure hunting (yeah, got plenty of that spare time on hand :) ). Later....

The metal detector is no longer available, as I will be putting it back into my own personal service. Wish it would have sold, but that is no longer an option at this point. Thanks anyway folks....
