A message from Sig,
Our loss is your gain. Sig .40 Size Fiberglass Floats - Only $49.99.
THIS IS A SCRATCH & DENT ITEM SOLD AS IS.
Sig has received a shipment of fiberglass floats that failed our quality control tests because the paint used on the floats is not fuel proof. So, we are selling a pair of .40 size fiberglass floats at the great close-out price of just $49.99. There is no hardware, mounting brackets, or water rudder included with these floats. The floats are 41 1/2" long, weigh 13 oz. each, and we estimate that the floats will support a model in the 6-8 lb range. The floats have a spine that runs down the top center of each float which makes attaching the floats to standard aluminum landing gear a simple task.
Unfortunately, we do not even know the kind of paint used on the floats. We suggest that you either strip off the existing paint and repaint the floats or use the floats unpainted. For use on electric powered models, the floats can be used as is. Sig makes no warranty or guarantee for these floats.
To order from the Sig website, go to www.sigmfg.com and click on the box in the upper left corner labeled "Product Code Search" and then enter the stock number SIGFGF40 where it says Enter Product Code. Or, give us a call at 1-800-247-5008 or 641-623-5154. This offer is limited to the quantity on hand.
