Any suggestions for decal removal from a ready to run vacuformed hull in case I don't want it to look like every other ready-to run boat of the same brand?

Use your wifes hair dryer to warm up the decals. Makes them easier to peel off. If there is an adhesive residue left, WD-40 will remove it.

i used turpentine substitute to remove the residue off Rafale Atlantique, wet a cloth with the stuff and gently wipe. use water to wash off excess turps.

Tom, I just tried the WD40 method on the Lidl yacht no2, works a treat!!
not sure whats in it apart from "petroleum distilates" as stated on the can, but something in the mix eats the residue away in no time, its also more delicate on the plastic as well
