I Usta Bee "Esso Bee", but it wasn't family friendly enough for the mods. ;)
Bill Ervin
Aug 19, 2007, 08:34 AM
I used "Bill Ervin" as my screen name because my real name is Griselda Foodlesquink and I didn't want anybody to make fun of me.
"Bill Ervin" has a nice, bland upper midwest sound to it which is good for keeping the papparazzi off the scent trail.
If you Google image "Bill Ervin" the first image you see will be a nerdy-looking 12-year-old kid holding an R/C racing plane. The picture is from 1975.

Bill Ervin, dude that is hilarious. :) If that really is your real name, it's a cool name! What background is it?
My screenname is about Charlie Parker, the famous jazz alto saxophone player. His nickname was Bird, I'm not really totally sure why that is, but I think it has to do with two things.
1. There's a story about something to do with him and a chicken, I think his car hit a chicken or something once and they went back and got it and he got someone to cook it for him (I can't remember if that's exactly what happened or not.... :D ) 2. He played the most beautiful phrases on his instrument though the chords of the songs he played, so maybe his nickname has something to do with the graceful and "bird-like" way that he played music.
When he passed in 1955, people began to write "bird lives" all over the place. Hence the Bidlives1955. :) Here, check him out: http://www.cmgworldwide.com/music/parker/ It looks like there are music clips on this site, the first time I heard him it blew me away.
Bilbobaker

Bilbobaker = Bill Baker that likes the little Hobbits from "Fellowship of the Ring".
Same name I use on my email and a dozen other forums.
Just for fun I did a search for Bilbobaker.

BeaterCRX

I used this name when I was younger and into the import scene. Mostly on Honda Civic forums I use to frequent. Thought it was fitting since my CRX is a beater that gets me to work and back, nothing special.

Griselda, I promised to take your secret to the grave, and here you lay it bare for all to see. Very well then, next time at the field, I'll make sure everyone knows your true name!
Mine is pretty simple, for a simple guy like me. LVSoaring because I LoVe Soaring and because I live in Las Vegas. It's gonna seem kinda silly when I move somewhere else....

MADHUN was a screen name I used when as a youngin used to blow the bejeebus out of things at first in Wolfenstien 3D, then doom, doom2, quake, unreal, halo. Mostly stemmed from a love of german cars, bit wierd considering it was huns I were waxing in W3d.
