well i finally got bored doing f3b speed runs by myself, so out goes the f3b winch and in goes the new hands free retriever.
no more shagging chutes for awhile.

this thing works awesome, great job on creating this rick.
there's more info here on it; www.handsfreeretriever.com

along with my new retriever mounted in the trailer.
i have a wiring system and horn for timing f3b runs.
wired some hot leads to plug my Sirius charger into.
have my modified talking timer hooked up to a amplifier for load speaker effect.
self launching for the glider.

what can i add next....
know where i can get a 12volt hotdog rotisserie ? :D

Our club (Las Vegas Soaring Club) got one of these last year, and it is truly amazing. It has increased reliability significantly, and reduced down time due to snarled lines to almost zero. Well worth the investment I'd say!

Our club here in Orlando has 3 of the "hands free retrievers". We started with one and soon bought the others because they are trouble free and easy to operate

Ditto all the above. It's a wonderful machine! I've had mine (competition model) for 2 years and it still works great.

The Lansing, MI club have two of these, they fall into that catagory of "Man, wish we had this years ago".

You gusy think a little too small. I love the trailers but it is missing one thing. Where to stow the plane!

I saw a couple of guys pull up in what looked to be a horse trailer with shelves and all repairs supplies etc. all set up. now that was a rig!

Still, you guys have me drooling. Looks great! I am definitely jealous :)

sleep4 has the nicest trailer setup I have ever seen. Top quality in every way. He even had pin stripes put on the trailer. He's very generous to share the trailer with us.

Pleeeeeze come fly with us. Sleep4 comes up on Sunday's.

It's hard to tell from the photo...how did you mount your hands-free retriever to the trailer? Nice job BTW...

There are 2 long bolts at the rear of the frame that go vertically all the way through the 3/4 in. trailer bed and are lock washered and nutted from underneath. If you look you can see the tops sticking out of the frame.
