Guys

When looking at the dimensions of your packs how can I tell the width vs. the height?

Specifically I need a 4000 MA 5S Maxx Amps pack to fit through a 40 MM tall & 59MM wide bulkhead in my model. The pack dimensions are listed as follows:

44mm x 137mm x 32mm

Noticing that they have an “insurance policy” of sorts you may purchase what are the stipulations if you don’t purchase it. In my example it just may be more then 30 days till I can maiden this model I’m purchasing the packs for. However I need the packs to get an idea of the final C of G setting. Having always flown another brand pack I guess I have some apprehension of switching brands.

I do need two of these packs. Maxx Amps offers me a 5% basic membership to start. Now the cost of a single pack pushes me into the 10% off bracket. Does that mean I have to place two separate orders, the 1st one with 5% savings and the 2nd one with 10% savings but two separate shipping charges? Sounds confusing just typing it!

Lastly does Maxx Amps offer any sort of “free shipping” after you spend a certain amount?

Best Regards

Each 4000mah cell, as per MaxAmps, is 44x134x6. A 5s pack is going to be 5 of these stacked up, one on top of each other. 5x6mm=30mm, add a few mm for heatshrink etc, and you get 32mm. Or use proces of elemination, knowing that the 5s pack will be ~134mm long, and 44mm wide.
Why does it matter anyway? Isn't hight vs. width all relative? You can rotate the pack to make them fit, lipos don't care which way they are situated.

Hi Tommy and thanks for the answer. BTW do you work for maxxamps?

If Maxxamps simply added a L,W,H to those numbers they supply it would take the guess work out of adding up single cell packs.

As for the "what does it matter anyways" you came off quite rude. I have my reasons.

I care how there situated, how's that?

Best Regards

Just look at any pack with less cells. The width and length would stay the same, the height will change.

If you want a MaxAmps response, I suggest you try MaxAmps in the Vendor forum.
