I spotted this beauty in the big city yesterday. It took all my wit, charm, and dashing good looks to get close enough to snap these. Hopefully, one of you barge builders can put these to good use. ;)

I looked at General Construction's website. They have some basic information on their well maintained fleet of cranes and flat deck barges. Personally, I like the look of the older style cranes like the DB Columbia. Somone could make a nice job of it with some plastruc girders ;)

Nice pics. Call me crazy but I love a good barge photo. I was trying out a new digital camera today and took these after work. I would like to do a derrick barge using the Hobbytron Crawler crane. I was thinking about using the crawler controls to raise and lower the spuds.

I love crane flats too. I've got a lot of photos. I even took photos and measurements of an old Balwin-Lima-Hamilton crawler crane to scratch build.

Here's a couple of the crawler crane and a few others.
