Group Effort

I had the chance to go up to Warrenton Va the last weekend and fly with some of the best F3J and B pilots in the country. It was a practice for the upcoming team trials. We flew off short winches and had the task on for every launch. I was still figuring out my launch setup on the Onyx so when Popoffs occured I flew them out. The lift was very good. I flew so much my arms were tired 8-) Really at 7:30 pm trying to block the sun Josh Glabb says my arms are tired of holding the xmitter up. I had to laugh because I knew exactly what he was saying.

I need to slow my appoach down some as I was 2 seconds earlier than the other guys. Better under than over but something Ill be working on this weekend.

I must have done 25-30 flights of 10 min flying sat. It was great. On sunday we started the same thing over again. Stated at 9:30 and I packed up at 2:30 as I had 6 1/2 hours of driving ahead of me. I cant wait for the Charlotte area to get some more TD and F3J guys. My one regular Bernie is a graet TD pilot we just need more in my area.

Here is a pic of the help I recieved with my JW Onyx. I needed a flap problem worked on and Tom Kesling was helping with that I was working the tow hook and Phil is holding the tail for us. Mike and Gearld were there for support. Josh couldnt get the kitchen pass on sunday so we missed him.
