Hi there; I was just wondering if anyone here has managed to get their sub to fire missiles? Or is it a function on some kits?
I just saw this HERE (http://www.rc-sub.com/faq.html) and it looks awesome lol :D

Generally the torps and missiles use compressed air (airbrush propellant) stored in the body. The control surfaces of the torp or missile will have a slight offset, causing the projectile to rifle thru the water and run hot straight and true.

So what is the missile usually? like a BB or something? Sorry but thanks for that-sounds cool- also if I built my own sub- would it be reasonably simple to add in?

Cardboard tube with a balsa cap, painted to look like a missile. I have seen a video of a submarine that used a small model rocket motor for launch.
