I have bought a used Nyx. The fuse is made of a thick carbon layup. Should I be concerned about placing the tx antenna inside the fuselage. Should I move it outside?

Thanks

AW

Gidday AW,

The F3B version of the nyx that I have has the antenna taped down the fuse coming out from the back of the canopy, the previous owner had the aerial exiting just behind the wing through a dedicated hole, his recommendation when doing this was to increase the overall length of the aerial by the length of aerial that will be "inside" the fuselage, as this length is blanketed by the carbon.

I have had NO issues with mine (as you would expect) and the previous owner had no range issues with the method described above.

Cheers
Steve
