I am looking at getting a flight sim soon, but I was torn between g3/5 and FS One, well after the e-mail correspondence I am no longer torn... g3.5 is the way to go-

They are listed newest to oldest, so start reading at the bottom of this post-

Dear Sir,

Unfortunately, at this time FS One does not support any 3rd party made aircraft. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Hope this information is helpful for you,

No, no it really didn’t help. I figured that you would soon come out with a type of “expansion” but if you read the last sentence in my e-mail I asked “Again can you please let me know if you support 3rd party made aircraft and if so where can you download them? As stated before I am still torn between the two flight simulators but I have decided that if this program supported 3rd party aircraft that were readily available I would certainly purchase FS One over G3.5. Looking forward to a more intensive response this time…

Dear Sir,

FS One will be releasing soon a new set of planes on a CD they call the Hangar Pack. It will include some new planes and helicopters.

Comments: I want to purchase a flight sim, but I am torn between FS one and G3.5. I was leaning toward FS One, but then I have noticed, I haven't seen any aircraft downloads. Like I have a yak-55 I fly, and I wanted to see if I could get that on the sim. Also I am soon getting an F-27C Stryker, but I wanted to start flying it before I actually purchased it. Again can you please let me know if you support 3rd party made aircraft and if so where can you download them?

Thanks for the information. I can't seem to get any response from Real Flight so I sent the guys at FS One a message. We'll see how it turns out.
I know there isn't much for glider pilots but if I'm going to shell out the cash I want to get the best I can.

My realflight worx fine, but I know two people who cant get it to run on 5 different machines and support was very slow or nonexistant. i am glad I havent had any problems.

I have seen realflight g3 working for dynamic gliding (atleast i think that's what its called) where you fly off a mountian side, and go down up and etc. well anyway, i have seen and heard that it has the best physics for that kind of simulation. As for FS One, i don't think they thought of putting a second look at their product for glider fans...

I got G3.5 the other day and it is great!!! I even went to the knife edge forums and downloaded some other planes. It's free to do. I have two C-130's a B-25, B-24, B-29, the Hobbyzone Super Cub, the Hobbyzone Typhoon, and even some full scale planes. Very cool sim, Im getting better on landings and oreintation, not to mention some aerobatic manuvers. Best $125 I have spent in a long time.
