Like every previous generation of warfare, it's hard to believe terrorists don't already have exactly the same capability.

Interesting NASA Foamie with 16 servo's in the wings with all those split control surfaces.

Beautiful area down there. Half wish I could find a job in the area and move the family down.

Though, as a native MD'er, I can't imagine living in that horrific state ever again. (no offense)

Interestingly, the X-45 program was canceled in 2006, leaving Al Queda as the only superpower with a fully functional UCAV. Wonder how many of the other vehicles shown are formerly funded now canceled.

Thanks for the pics Martin. It was a hottttt day on the tarmac. Sorry, no pics from me. I'm not use to taking cameras on military bases since it's normally frowned upon, when I saw folks with cameras it was a perfect D'ohh moment!

Jack, I believe the vehicle in the pics is the Northrup Grumman X-47B which was just awarded a demonstration contract by NAVAIR to do carrier integration work. Not sure about the AlQeada comment..... I'm pretty sure all the vehicles on display and flown had active customers. Not all are fully fielded, but most have users that I am aware of.
