Where can I get one of these? All I've found only go to 6mm motor shafts.

Steve Neu sells long shaft steel ones also.

A good steel one would probably be a good idea on a large motor. The aluminum prop shafts on some of these big motors have always scared me.

What motor do you have? Got the same problem with a HXT 50-55. Looks like Neu is the way to go.

Got the 8 MM from Neu. Very sturdy steel and weighs about 2.5 0z. Unfortunately it takes a 25" prop and it won't take an APC 14-15". The shaft is too long and the front and back plates to large of a diameter.

My Tower 8MM is due in next week for a test.

I reverce mounted the motor. Mine is a hxt 50-45 890KV. I've only bench tested it then I accidentally plugged 2 4cells in series instead of parralell and ruined my hxt pro 80 speed cont. This motor's shaft is larger than needed I think. I think at the most I might go a 13" / 14" prop with 4 cells. let me know what the other prop adpt will work with.
