I'm looking for a 1/3 scale Salto. I know there are fuselages available from Rosenthal, but was hoping someone here had one(built) to sell or knew of someone who did. I have too many projects going now, but would still like to fly one of these beauties. Someone want to build one for me?(never thought I'd ask that, coming from the ultimate "I'll do it myself" guy)
I almost bought a full scale Salto last year, but condition did not equal his bottom price, such a hard decision to make since it is such a neat and rare bird. I'd love to find a good one. I've got a long way to go to beat Manfred Radius in style and skill, but I'll be having fun just the same!

I can get one on special order from Han's Muller for around $1150.00. Muller makes custom built gliders to order, and if you know of his work, it is some of the best in Germany. I have an order with him for two planes right now, and if your interested could ask him to do another.
Krause also makes a 1/3 Salto, I don't have info on these kits, but they require a lot of work for not a lot less money, never the less also good kits. About $900.00 I estimate, last I knew. I think Dymond handles Krause.

Thanks for the reply John.
Having seen a Muller built plane up close, $1150 seems like a very reasonable price! I was very impressed with the craftsmanship. Is that price for a completed plane? I expect to at least have to mount servos etc...what kind of finish work should I expect? I am finishing up a full-scale restoration project within 4 weeks and when that leaves my door, and payment recieved....it will be very easy to sell me on that plane!
Thanks again!

I have an unused 1/3 Scale Salto Fuselage for sale. I am about to post it on eBay. It is like I say "unused" and apparently in excellent condition. I believe it was painted (outside only) at one point and is half peeled, but no attempts were ever made to populate any components. The original uncut canopy and fitting are intact. The body halves are fiberglassed together (by the manufacturer I assume). I have no idea what company made this body (perhaps Krause?).

I will have photos when I post it on-line. Let me know if you are interrested and what you think it may be worth to you.

Thank you,
Bruce
