Decided to post a thread of my rustler while im bored. Car has all aftermarket suspension and I just recently put the 3.3 motor on it. Although i need to get a cvd kit. Because this motor keeps ripping out the halfshafts. It also likes to eat the sh*t outta my tires. Well enough talking heres some pictures let me know what you think.

i thought about putin a 3.3 on my rustler but my lhs said it would be uncontrolable is that true? i mean my rustler with a 2.5r does wheelies but its gotta be crazy with a 3.3!!

I dont think its that bad to be honest. With the suspension i have in the back its hard to even pull wheelies it pretty much stays on the ground. My main problem with it is the drive shaft. I couldnt full throttle the car cause everytime i did it broke the plastic ones inhalf. So i bought the cvd kit for it. Put those on and not even 5 mins after i did when out and slowly gained speed then full throttle it and it cracked the metal one in half. So im clueless on what to do now lol

would it just spin tire or would i actually be able to move. I actually was trying to sell my nitro sport and buy a jata 3.3. I dont know if that is a good car or not but it looks fast and cool.

Yea my friend that lives with me has the jato 3.3 and its def. fast but very hard to control. It wont stop pulling wheelies or spinning out. But if you can keep it under control its def. very fast. Im not sure for your nitro sport i mean it would def. be a big upgrade going to the 3.3 but hey wouldnt hurt to try right?

Oh i did... much better tires now :D Also just put a Acmcn Pro 3.3 Heat block on it and a Robinson Racing 72t Hardend Steel Spur Gear. I think my next step is to extend my a-arms out and get the supercharger. Does anyone have the supercharger if so what type of increases did you get?

They don't do jack, don't waste your money on them. I wouldn't get a steel spur either, they weigh so much compared to the plastic ones, your acceleration will suffer, just learn to drive better, and correctly mesh your gears and you'll be fine.

It keeps the car cooler. So it does help. And the plastic spur gear keeps burning up. If i punch it it would burn the gear up i replaced it twice with a plastic one and still same sh*t so i went with the steel one and now i don't have a problem with it. So it really does help just to let ya know.
