Finding a DXF to Gerber converter thats free ??

Does anyone know of a free or very modestly priced converter program that will take a DXF file and produce the Gerber file that most board houses require. Maybe I'm old fashioned but since I design stuff with CAD, I also think that way when designing a pcb.

Most of my stuff is routed on a CNC router but I'm getting into designs that are too small to be routed so I gotta go the board house way.
