I'm thinking about canibalizing my Aerobird Challenger and making a pusher air boat out of the components. I did a quick search but didn't find any plans. Can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks

i know your looking for plans but i thought i'd just show you my boat that i built from just looking at a couple of pics of a dumas lil swamp buggy. it was really easy to build. im gonna try to sketch out a plan of it for you.

When I was a teenager, a friend built a full sized little boat using two sheets of 1/4" ply and some 1x12" boards. The design was very similar to the Dumas airboat, however, he used a 15 hp outboard for a cheap, fun boat. I copied the design for an .049 powered boat and had a blast with it. I used a water rudder instead of an air rudder. Since SFGuy is drawing up the plans for you, I suggest using them for a great running and inexpensive boat.

It is savidmatt's airboat that has made me contemplate buying one! With his setup, it really is a fun boat to watch!!! :)
