Anyone know of a Helicopter club in Cape Town? Looking to join one.

What kind of heli?

There's the Tygerberg Model Flying Club (http://www.tmfc.co.za/) for big helis and the Indoor Flying Club at the Velodrome for smallish electric helis.

I have a Raptor 50 and a Trex 450. I'm pretty new to the hobby, but can fly alone - although not certified in SA yet. Durbanville is pretty far for me. I'm in Tableview. And Milnerton seems pretty windy and - unfriendly. :(

Come join us on the RCHQ forum (www.rchq.co.za) - a lot of the Velodrome indoor guys hang out there, myself included. There will be flying again next Monday!

unfriendly...iv heard the same,theres so much politics in the clubs,there are alot of friendly guys but they arent always there when u fly...

Tygerberg club is decent

its not far from tableview,pack up yo gear and make a half day out of it!

or u could just jam it up in your local field like me and my friends do!
