We have a chance for an remote control model kit inventor to be the next AMERICAN INVENTOR on ABC tv. Ricky DeRennaux, a teacher from Oklahoma, invented HT RACERS a kit that you can design and build remote control cars, planes, robots, whatever... all out of paper.
The VOTE is on WED. night July 25th on ABC in a special 2 hour episode.
It would be so great to have an RC model inventor win!!!

I agree, and just voted for Ricky from Oklahoma. This guy has a great idea and it was also funny when he flew the model (electric) HT Racer plane into the wall on National TV! :D

Really though this guy inadvertently is a part of our hobby RC out of paper it is really cool. Great to get the kids started in RC! :)

If for some reason everyone doesn't see this tonight and can't call the series is running on ABC right now and you can call next time. Somebody is doing something for RC, one of you big hobby shops step up and get that guy a cool ARF to fly - in the ready to fly state. ;)
