I had some problems with the flap setup on my Xtreme and finally have it figured out. Thanks to Jim in Denver for helping me.
There never seems to be any good pic of this setup so I have taken some and posted them here

Its a great setup and 90 degrees was easy to get with this setup.
I hope this will save someone a headache

Thanks for taking the time to post those pics.
I don't mean to be picky but here are some unsolicited tips for taking some sharper macro pics:
1. The Canon S100 only has a minimum focus of 3.9" at wide angle in macro (similar to my S30). Be careful you don't get too close.
2. I noticed your exposure was 1/10s at f/2.8. This is really slow and really can't be handheld so you might want to use a tripod. Better yet, throw A LOT of light on it so you can use a smaller aperture and get a larger depth of field. If that's not practical, you'll have to use the flash.

Looks like a decent setup. Top actuated flaps are quite critical with regard to horn placement, both for good range of motion and with repsect to each side to maintain the same throws for each side.
I just finshed up a cross tail Xtreme and did not bother with driving them from the top. I prefer bottom actuated flaps so just made some horns and mounted them in the more conventional manner. I don't use 90 degrees, max is about 65. Linkage is solid and much less prone to slop than the top drive system.
