took five weeks to build, but here it is. 44"ws, 51"length, 41oz,(not batt or motor). Plan to push it around with either an AXI 2826/10 or Hyperion 3025/10 and a 4s 3700 lipo. Both would give me around 500watts and weigh in at around 3.5 lbs rtf.

That's a good looking ship. 3.5 lbs rtf? It 41 oz now? A 4s-3700 lipo will be about 14 oz by itself. The AXI is a wonderful motor but it's heavy too. Hope you can make 3.5 lbs but it might be tough. Good luck.

This is true. I originallly looked at the FlightPower 4s1p 2500's, which are 9.45oz, and the 2826 AXI is 6.3oz. That would put just at 3.5 lbs. The 4s1p 3700's are 12.3oz, still very close to 3.5lbs

Well, the size will still handle the weight so that's really not a problem. The 3.5 lbs just caught my eye because this build sort of falls into my "realm' of building recently. And I know I struggle to get these birds under 4 lbs but I will be the first to admit, I'm not the lightest builder.
I watched them race these in the jet category at the Reno Air Races a couple of years ago. They were super smooth fliers.
Good luck with it, it looks great.
