You can put up a storefront pretty quickly nowadays.
I did the trial version at Yahoo! Small Busines (http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/ecommerce/paypal.php?ysmchn=GGL&ysmcpn=New+Store&ysmcrn=sr2yb123go18816mb12128pi18ai3907&ysmtrm=sr2yb123go18816mb12128pi18ai3907+ecommerce+ yahoo&ysmtac=PPC&ovtac=PPC&SR=sr2yb123go18816mb12128pi18ai3907). Not bad, they've probably improved it by now.
Lot's of others to choose from.

So with the Yahoo small business do you add products and they order them for you or do you buy the products and just add them online?

So with the Yahoo small business do you add products and they order them for you or do you buy the products and just add them online? You'd have to stock you own merchandise. Yahoo would assist you in displaying the items, creating orders and collecting the monies.
You'd still have to the ship the stuff. ;)

In your opinion what do you think would be the best merchandise to sell? What is really good on the market?

I've heard that if you're going to go into business, do something that you enjoy doing. So selling something that you know a lot about and enjoy seems to be the way to go.

I googled it (both spellings) and couldn't really find anything besides a bunch of random pictures and words. It must be too new. Sounds exotic though... sheesh, what will they think of next?
As far as merchandise goes, It seems pretty simple really: what do people buy the most? Groceries and gasoline. Stuff like that.

Running your own business is great but it can be challenging and since you're always at home, you're always at work. Try to find a product that's unique and can not be reverse engineered in China (they've already got a hold on RC).
(Usta Bee has a good idea with Pimping, that's something that can't be outsourced! j/k)
