Just wanted to throw a shout-out for Mile High Wings (http://milehighwings.com)... ordered the V4 interface for my Futaba 7CAP on sunday, it was shipped monday and I got it yesterday. It's an excellent product. The calibration/setup software is easy and works great for getting things happening. The control of the simulator is simply excellent (Aerofly Pro Deluxe) and super smooth, it's good to finally get all 7 channels in the sim :)
I initially thought the plug was loose and a bad fit in the Tx, but a little more push and it turned out to be a very nice and snug fit.
Couldn't be happier. Give them consideration the next time you're in need of a Tx interface. :)

I second that, in my opinion, MileHigh (http://milehighwings.com) interface cable is the best one out there.

Just want to clarify something.. you are using this as a secondry interface ?? - AFPD typically uses its own proprietry interface as part of the copy protection... reading you post gives the impression that the Milehigh wings interface circumvents this protection

Malc,
You are certainly not a newb, your postings are always informative and show that you know a lot about TX interfaces (are you, buy the way, affiliated with one of the UK companies, making TX interfaces?). I'm sure you have heard about MileHighWings interfaces before, as you've contributed to many threads about them.
Why are you now implying that our products circumvents copy protection???
Simply look at our interface compatibility page:
http://milehighwings.com/compatibility.php
and read the following text at the bottom:
"Our cables can be used as a secondary interface with Ikarus AeroFly Pro, the original AFP cable should be connected too."
Quite a few people purchased our USB interfaces to use their CCPM or Walkera PCM transmitters with this simulator, as AeroFly interface can't un-mix CCPM or decode Walkera PCM. The same story with FS One simulator--it allows you to use your own interface as long as the original interface/dongle is connected.
Another advantage of our new v.4 interface is higher resolution than the original interfaces provide: while FS One interface has only 8-bit resolution, our v.4 interface offers 10 bits, which is 4 times higher resolution. I have tried original 8-bit and our 10-bit interface side-by-side and I felt that the control was much smoother with our interface (though I might have been biased).

Malc,
(are you, buy the way, affiliated with one of the UK companies, making TX interfaces?)
Nope ! - I have no connection at all with any company making interfaces
Why are you now implying that our products circumvents copy protection???
I'm not... I was pointing out that the original post was, or could be implying this.. and thus is miss-leading for other readers, and could damage your credability as a respected manufacture. Note that I did state that it gave the impression that he was using just your interface, as he made no mention of the dongle being used.
Sorry for any confusion...
Malc
