I've gone and won this. Erm.. I hope it's the same as the Sundancer being converted to proper control in another thread!

I think some of the eBay sellers have had a nip or two when they price their items. :)

I think there's a Latin phrase that covers this kind of thing, but it somehow escapes me at the moment---. :o

I've had a nip or two also---. :o :D

Oh yes---, Caveat Emptor---. ;)

Do yourself a favor, don't use it when you're sober either.

Doc, you're right---. ;)

I have used Ebay in the past, when I was looking for items that were hard to find, but what I would get was often flawed---.

No bargains there---.

Buyer beware!

I paid $86.00 in shipping for a $8.95 jewelry box! LOL shipping from China ~ I didn't even notice that little detail. I think I had had a nip or two that night myself ~ LOL

Sorry, I don't get it?

The price looks about the same as what you would pay at Wamart?

Price-wise, £15 plus £8 sterling shipping is not the end of the world for a 16" toy rc boat.

EDIT:- Ah, it's a smaller version of the one being converted over in Scale Boats section... :o

Nah you got off lightly... and yes drinking and ebay don't mix, especially whilst browsing under the search title "Leica".
I'm now the proud and confused owner of two M2's when it should have been a M2 and a M3...

...I 've gotten some good stuff on ebay....like some old Mitchell 300 (70's)spinning reels that you CAN NOT get in Wally World. :p I found some cool homemade/pirated music DVDs and other stuff there too like parts for my old cop car and bronco. You have to read the fine print...and yes it is buyer beware. Read the sellers reviews and try to not send money orders, and never send cash, rather use a visa card or pay pal.

Tachyon Driver,

I have seen this same boat at K-Mart in the US for about $27. If the interior of this boat is as accessible as that of its big brother, conversion to full RC should still be a simple affair. Plus, this size boat is much more pool/small pond friendly than the 28" version. At least it's not "vector-push design". :)

Keep us posted.

I hear that Greg!

I'll get some pics posted after I receive the boat; paypal payment still hasn't been received by the seller, must be away from his PC.

Seller Beware too! Yeah I remember a long time ago I sold an old slot-car set off of Ebay for $15.00 and some guy in Canada bought it. It costed as much to ship it as I gor for it! Didnt make a cent off that >.<!

Yes...it is good idea to make sure you have have your shipping costs covered (not excessive) with ebay
