I am wanting (for looks) install the Vertical stabs at a 35deg. angle to fuse. What I want to know is how will this effect the flight characteristics of the plane if much at all?

Would also like to install wing tip stabs ???
Thanks,
Kevin

You would effectively be reducing the surface area of the vertical tail if you mount them at 35 deg instead of (IIRC, from mine) 10 or 15 deg.

This would reduce yaw stability.

My Shrike was VERY twitchy and a handful to fly. It was pretty fast and did rolls OK, but was not very aerobatic otherwise.

I suspect changing the design away from stability will make it even more of a handful.
