Here are some pics of the new boats. Captain Sunshine sails the Red Nirvana and the Bristol Bay, while I launch the Blue (WAR EAGLE) Nirvana and the tug (BELINDA).

We had a wonderful time at the Park. I really loved the WAR EAGLE...she sailed great. ;)

I have never seen a B'Bay so low in the water. What did you use for ballast?

I saw someone else here had the same idea and used molded bullet lead "Lyman" bars. I used 3 fore and 1 aft to get the Bay to sit right at her marked waterline. She did tend run with the bow a little too deep for my liking and I removed 1 of the bars forward. They are velcro’d in. Man I love that stuff! :D

Captain Sunshine has got new wind in her sails!
My first sailing experience........what a rush. I loved it.
Captain Slick and I had a completely groovy time chasing the swans, geese, ducks and various other water fowl around the pond.
The wind was slow at times but mainly it was a steady 5 mph or so. Perfect weather and wind to learn in.
The tug and Bristol were also a lot of just plain fun! No work or concentration required ~ just a cold brewskee and a radio controller.
Yippee, can't wait to go again.
Smooth sailing ~ Captain Sunshine
