what kind of airframe to chose???

I wanna know what kind of airframes there are currently being used?

I want to make a mav (its not really smal but ok) of between the 60 and 80cm span (I'm trying to find out how to make my wings foldable...)
but al suggestion are welcome.

you could try a flying wing, where the wings attach to a tube running length wise.
then you could have most of your electronics in the tube, and the wings disconnect.
Maybe with a carbon fiber spar passing through the tube, and going out to the wings.

I don't think a flying wing is the best choise..., it has to be very stable and it must be able to fly slow. I was more thinking of using a sailplane with a smal outrunner?
(I'm also experimenting with an Istar look-a-like)

what motor would you advice? an outrunner but from which brand???
I'm thinking of Scorpion, MircoDan or Hyperion (all with an appropiate ECS and a 20c 3cell 1000mah battery:D)
