Looking for Recommendations on technique and materials for doing an airbrush job on a Raptor canopy. I know the plastic is kind of funky and I am assuming regular Lexan or model paint would flake off after some use. Can anyone make some recommendations? Thanks.

All ovewr the net there is information on hopw to paint the bleach bottle canopy's on the Raptor.

The way I did it was to get some flexable bumper primer. Bull dog, Semi are 2 brands. Sand the plastic until thee is NO shinny spots. Apply two coats of the bumper primer. I then sanded again and applied testors NEON colors with an air brush. I then top coated all of it with a 2 part clear coat I got from an automotive paint store.

After a couple of crashs it needs a new paint job. THe plastic is so flexable that the paint will not stick for ever but if you dont crash it will last for a while.

The best thing to do is find someone that knows how to work with plastic. That's what I did.
