Nice lookin UAV, but look at the endurance, is this endurance figure a common one for an EDF model????

it has an edf for hovering. Pretty neat. Don't know if I'm buying their forward flight endurance numbers, but I'm sure they turn their edf off for forward flight.

this page (http://www.avtolt.com/hammerhead/capabilities.html) is much more informative

Interesting! About three yeara ago a guy over here demonstrated a very similar design; used a pair of .40s, three blade props, mounted on rotating stubs like this one. Did vertical take-offs and transition into forward ok, but was a box of grasshoppers changing from forward to hover. A wobbler!
They look like fixed pitch wooden props on this one, I would guess that cruise power is probably quite low, so the endurance is not too surprising, but it probably cruises at not more than sixty or so. Be interesting to see how it is developed.

I'd have to see a movie :)
the wing loading looks fairly high, that's a lot of batteries
