Seagull mustang engine size.

Hi I have aquired a seagull mustang which used to have a 53 size engine fitted.

I saw it flying one was really impressed and though it may be the thing to get me through my next safety certificate level.

I dont have a 53 but have an OS 46 do you think this would be man enough for the plane. Also have a super tiger 49 which is quite heavy with large exhaust.

Also forgot about an Os 61 4 stroke would that have enough power.

did you get an engine sorted for the p51,,,i would have gone for the 61 4/
i would say it would fly more scale like and sound nicer aswell.

i have a vq p51b that now has a asp 65 4/ in it but as yet unflown,the 52 4/ was to small,
