Ikara make some great plastic props, cheap too.
So I designed this little olde timer rubber power for indoor/park flying.
I have had 60 second motor runs and two minute flight easy. The are quick to make anc cheap so I build five in one session as I loose a lot of them. They get up into little thermals great
If a dog chews it or it get stuck in a tree - so what!
Photo here is of the Tango flying in central Leicester on a small park

Looks cool - a bit like the R/C Air Surfer. Have plans somewhere?

I have to admit, that's pretty cool.
People are doing amazing things with foam these days. Do you have any tips for designing and building FF with foam. I know that I have been a little intimidated by it but I sure can't argue with the results.

Are we still talking about Mark's Tango, mentioned in a different thread with a similar title ? If so there was a plan for it published in one of the UK mags a while ago. I expect the details will be on the Aeronutz webpage http://www.aeronutz.flyer.co.uk/ Look under Articles.
There's another model from the same stable with similar construction that I like for indoors. Made almost entirely from 2mm wall foam, the GrooveJet is an entertaining little model and again looks nothing like the traditional stick thing so often seen. There was a free plan published for that in Model Flyer April 2001. The trouble is they're so cheap and easy to build that I keep giving them away so I haven't got one to photograph at the moment. There's a picture of it on the Aeronutz site too (look under plans).

Modest bucks?
It's funny how stuff gets screwed up once the country of origin changes: we can bring stuff (White Wings) in from Taiwan, and the schools buy em by the gross. The Brits have nothing but grief getting stuff into the NA market because of "Safety Regulations"; I tried to get distributorship for plans to an electric car (for kids), and NOT EVEN THE PLANS were allowed to be marketed!
BTW, doesn't Guillows market some foamy rubber jobs? I'm so far into the bushes here that I can't even buy Guillows models...
And BTW, we have some profile balsa rubber models we tried to market years ago; do we have a better chance of marketing them in foam?
