I know I should have saved this one for when I build my orca but I couldn't resist. I'm very lucky to have pond stocked with scale sharks :D (trout) to operate my models in. This is my brother-in-laws pond and its only about 5 miles from my house.

Nice pond, and nice boat. Now, make the red canoe in the second picture into a giant RC battleship! :p

The pond is fed by an arteshion (sorry about the spelling if its wrong) well. It stays in the fifties year round. So its great for my water cooled brushless boats. My kids are crazy enough to swim in it in the summer. If look at the last picture the house is 8 ft. to the left of that deck. Used to be some sort of mill and below the dam is still a waterwheel.

The boat has come a long way since I purchased it last sept. However it has a long way to go. it will be the ATLATIC SALVOR when finnished.

Water, dam, wheel..........

I'd be crazy enough to put in a water turbine and generate my own electric and sell the surplus back to the electric company.

Blue, Nice pond, and close to the house to boot! A combination that's real hard to beat.
When I did the maiden run on the first Akula submarine there were 3 giant carp -- one was longer then the submarine -- pulled in and swam in formation till they figured out the boat wasn't a threat. After that we never saw them again.
