These switching PS usually use a sensing resistor to fine tune the output voltage. Has someone tired to adjusted it to 3.6 v?

I am think about using it to charge A123 cells in parallel.

Hi,

Some years ago, I did that to get 14v instead of 12 for my Peltier camping Fridge ...

so, Why not try 3.3 to 3.6 v ???

Humm, 12V could be adjusted to charge 3 or 4 cell A123 at 10.8 / 14.4.

Since these PC PS can pump out >10A on its 12V tap, do you think it can be used as a CV/CV to chrage A123 directly?

Won't it take a very long time to charge? Seems the larger the capacity, the longer it will take. A lipo charger charges @ constant current until full cell voltage (probably like 85%, takes about 50 minutes on my charger), then switches to constant voltage (16 minutes on my charger for the last 15%).
