HI
Is there such a thing?
I want to use small brushless motors for Free-flight. Would a fuse be the best way of cutting power when the model hits something?
Thanks

Steve,
RS do resetable fuses up to several amps. Have a look at 517-6742 for example
Have a look at the RS Website (http://rswww.com/cgi-bin/bv/rswww/searchBrowseAction.do?D=resettable%20fuses&Nr=AND%28avl%3auk%2csearchDiscon_uk%3aN%29&Ntk=I18NAll&Nty=1&Ntt=resettable%20fuses&Dx=mode%20matchpartial&Ntx=mode%20matchpartial&N=0&name=SiteStandard&forwardingPage=line&R=5176742&callingPage=/jsp/search/search.jsp&BV_SessionID=@@@@1267276380.1182166943@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccdgaddlemjkmgkcefeceeldgkidhgj.0&cacheID=uknetscape) - £1 each +vat but you have to buy a pack of 10, so it could get expensive working out what current rating you need !

Look at Rapid Electronics web site. Numerous devices from 9 pence each :) (non Rohs) others as little as £1-00 for 100......yes that's 100. :D
They stock a very good range and you should find something suitable. These are thermal devices which re-set when the load is excessive removed. Perfik??

Thanks guys........I've just sent off for a range of fuses from Rapid.
I'll have to carry out some trials.
Cheers
