I've got a Z5045-18 (b version). How heavy of a plane will one of these lug around for 3D purposes? How about something like an EF 88" Yak with 12s Lipo or 14s a123 at about 17-18 pounds (just a guess on that weight). I've seen the threads where this motor is used successfuly on 15-16 lb planes and read only anecdotal evedence that it could handle a 19lb plane. I realize that the watt per pound numbers say go for it but I want first hand evidence. Opinions appreciated!

I fly a 30% extra 260 on that motor , 12s 24x12e prop
hovers very easily, great punchout, plane is just under 16lbs

it will do fine on the 88" ef yak, but why not get the hyperion yak?
comes from the same designer and factory and its made for the z504518B

you wont even need a motor mount.

Thanks a lot for pointing that out for me. I saw the "coming soon" under the title and assumed it was out of stock. I now see that that is just for the specs. Cool!
