I woke up this morning to the PA blasting "We Will Rock You" and walked out to see hot air balloons floating up into the air.
Nice.

awesome pics, I'll be there tomorrow and sunday. How early did people start arriving, or in other words how early should I get there if I want to sit front row?

We arrived in the afternoon on Friday for the event. I was originally dissappointed it was moved to Idiana, since I live in Ohio and have not missed an XFC yet. As soon as we went to the new site my opinion changed, This is nothing short of a proffesional airshow! We got to see some competitiors fly there last round which was awesome. This event just got even better than ever before, congradulations to all that made this happen. We are here for the weekend and i'm sure I will not regret 4-1/2 hours just to watch!

Stood about six feet from our famous Mr. Graham when he was having his pic taken with the delta wing thing after the gent put on a hellacious demo with it. Should have intro'd myself, but was watching the big boys fly right then and it was good. I got to fly with Michael Mancuso last fall and it was great to see him fly it from the ground, but I am sure it has to be better from up there.

The PA woke me up at 6 AM. YIKES!

He he...sorry Jim, I should have warned you...that's my traditional way of getting things started! I figure if I'm there at 5:30 am, the least everyone else can do is be up by 6:00.

Thanks for being here and all the great coverage!

Does anybody know what kind of plane this is? This picture was on post #10.

Kit wise, not sure but it is the plane they use for towing gliders at the Aerotow event in IL.
