I built a Springer Tug and I wanted to order some things from Bluejacketinc.com . How do I figure out my boats scale size. The boat is 21.5 inches long.

Well, if you built a Springer tug using the instructions on the thread, you should have a hull that's 8" wide by 18" long. ;)

If your boat is 21 1/2" long, you "sprung" it somewhat---.

However, as the spirit of it all is fun, that shouldn't matter too much. The general concensus of the scale of the Springer is 1/20th, or 5/8" = 1'. :D

A Springer 21 1/2" long?......

If you measure the height of a door or the height of a window.. and thats the height of a crew member (say 1").. then 1" = 6 foot

or 1/24th = 1/2" to the foot. G guage railway figures are OK for that size. People come in all sizes 5ft to 6ft on average. As mentioned doors are your clue.
