What are the advantages of the symmetrical
stab? Goldberg falcons and skylarks had symmetrical
stabs as well as the old VK Cherokee and Cherokee Babe.
I assume the new kits don't use symmetrical stabs
because of difficulty of production i.e. flat plate
stabs are easier to produce.
Thanks

You got it!
There's little discernible difference in a typical sport plane, flat plate versus airfoiled tail.
