Hi,

Would appreciate some help....I am left handed and fly (on 4 channel) Throttle / rudder on right stick, aileron / elevator on left.

I have FMS / connector lead & Tx etc but don't seem to be able to change the mode......does anyone have any experience / information ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Assuming that you have a transmitter set up as you prefer and an interface into FMS that works. Then simply go into the Controls menu, select your interface and the mapping/calibration button to get the mapping display.

Move your throttle and observe which channel moves in the display. Then set the throttle channel number to the channel you observed moving. Do the same for Rudder, Elevator and Aileron. Copy the same four numbers down into Tail, Nick, Roll and Pitch for helicopter control.

OK out of everything and then try flying a plane. If any of the controls are reversed then simply go back into the mapping/calibration control and put a tick in the INV box next to the control that is reversed. Put a tick in the same place in the heli set as well.

If you need it a tick in Exp applies an exponential movement.

I recommend that you also calibrate the controller in that screen. If your interface simulates a joystick in windows then I recommend that you calibrate in Windows first before doing it in FMS.
